Miriam P. Padberg, co-proprietor of Brasserie Quartier Latin, consistently rated as one of Haiti’s top-five restaurants—currently rated as the #1 restaurant in Pétion-Ville by TripAdvisor—is a restaurateur and hospitality professional with over 20 years of world-class international experience. Brasserie Quartier Latin is currently in its tenth year of operation and enjoys a stellar reputation for a unique ambiance, great food and distinctive events. Ms. Padberg’s efforts in creating a unique culinary experience and always providing a venue for countless social causes were recently recognized by world-renowned chef, Cat Cora, who made her a Global Ambassador for Chefs for Humanity.

Over the last ten years Ms. Padberg has served as a Personal Advisor to three Haitian Prime Ministers in charge of their official residences. Returning to Haiti in 2000, Ms. Padberg worked as an independent consultant/trainer focusing on operations for such firms as Royal Caribbean Cruises, Les Moulins d’Haïti (LMH), Compagnie de Tabacs Comme-il-Faut and the Caribeean Tourism Organization. Ms. Padberg is a seasoned international hospitality professional having previously worked with industry-leading firms such as BlackBerry Farms (Walland, TN - USA)—Relais & Châteaux, the Ritz- Carlton Hotel (Atlanta, GA - USA) and Château d’Artigny (Montbazon, France). Ms. Padberg holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management from the International Hotelschool The Hague.
